Magnetic cards available through Peter Miller - Yellow Cards. So much more civilized than my pet daydream of riding around with a baseball bat attached to my backpack.

All I want is an airhorn attached to my bike.
What I want to know is do they stick? I imagine tossing one at an aggressively moving vehicle (or even a stopped vehicle) the chances are it would fall to the ground. But if they do have a good chance of sticking its a great idea!
Bruce Cockburn?! I am SO jealous!
I have looked into those bike mounted air horns, and there have been times I have been tempted to use my bike pump for personal protection, but I really like these magnets --and the rest of Millers site-- thanks for the tip!
Just yesterday I "spanked" a mercedes for cutting into the bike lane when I was passing him from the inside. Just a smack on the hood of his car as I passed - no dammage, just a loud very sudden sound.
It was fun.
Yeah.. practically speaking, you'd have to be a ninja to successfully whip one of these magnets out and toss them spinning through the air to land on a car.
Practice makes perfect I guess!! : )
As both a driver and a cyclist, I can appreciate the problem from both sides of the windshield. There are lots of cyclists who scare *the crap* out of me when I'm driving -- swerving in and out of lanes, failing to stop at intersections, ignoring lights and signs. Cyclists are hard to see, often have unpredictable trajectories, and many flout traffic rules. I'd like to have a similar object to throw at cyclists sometimes. Sharing the road is a two-way street (haha, no pun intended).
I love the magnet. Also, an update on the evil biotest. I think I did pretty well even though I didn't study much. yay!
